We started off the month of April with officially opening the Prayer Room. The Minister of Health and invitees were most appreciative of this addition to the center and the benefits it brings to the component part (Spiritual) of the patients rehabilitation.
The patients participated in the Spiritual ceremony with songs, prayers and poem.
On Sunday 17th April we held a Thanksgiving service at the National auditorium in Victoria with friends and families present. We had prayers, worship, ministering and our preacher for that evening Pastor David.

On Sunday 17th April a group of six young men who are drug free were baptized at Anse Royale beach by Mrs Fourie and Mr Fourie. The group had gone through baptismal sessions and intensive spiritual programme evenings and Sundays.

MLC Ministries’ involvement at the Wellness Center took another dimension, this time nationwide, as I was invited on a ‘live’ televised debate on Stigmatization and Discrimination as a barrier to recovery from drug addiction. The Spiritual aspect and necessity in a recovery programme was emphasized during the phone-ins and debate itself.
